Why do I need to enter my name and email address?

You are asked to enter your name and email to claim a book giveaway because some ebooks on Prolific Works have Digital Rights Management (DRM) enabled to protect against piracy. 

Additionally, you have to enter your email address to claim a book because one of our ebook download options is sending the file straight to your email inbox.

Finally, your name and email address may be added to the author's newsletter once you claim their book giveaway, depending on if you opt into a mailing list while claiming a giveaway.
